Club Camelot is one of the more famous clubs in Shibuya, and they also hold a lot of events and you should also check their website for the week to see their upcoming events. Club Camelot has a heavy Japanese crowd but is very welcoming to foreigners and they will also try to communicate with you and try to have you join in with their fun as well! I listed that the women to men ratio is roughly 1:1 because some nights the ratio can be up to 2:1 and even 3:1! The cover charge is 1000 yen for women and 2500 yen for men on non-event nights and it comes with two drink coins. BUT there are always people handing out fliers around the club that offer you discounted cover charges; for men it will be 2000 yen and for women it will be free. There is also a VIP card that you can obtain which will allow both men and women to get in free, and for men they can bring up to 2 women in free if they hold this card! The club has three floors: the entrance and main floor are on the first floor which is primarily a Hip-Hop area, and the second floor plays a little more relaxed music and occasionally plays reggae, the B1 floor is primarily Hip-Hip and Techno music with a stage for girls to dance on and also for events. All-in-all, this place is good to experience a Japanese oriented club night that is “Gaijin” friendly.
