Fukumitsu-ya Asakusa

written by EnAble Japan October 20, 2014

Fukumitsu-ya is one of the many small, yet plentiful shops along the famous street of shops known as “Nakamise-dori” in Asakusa, and perhaps one of the best general shops for foreign visitors for its wide variety, good prices, and placement (at the entrance of Nakamise-dori).

This shop has no particular featured item, but rather, an ample amount of Japanese souvenirs that will impress friends and family back home, without forcing buyers to pay a fortune.

In terms of the items sold, there are T-shirts, fans, keychains, headbands, lanyards, posters, stickers, and many other Japanese style goods.

Prices for items in this general shop range from as little as 200yen (~$2) to as much as 3000yen (~$30) depending on the item and intricacy.
