Home Clubs and Bars SALSA CARIBE

Salsa Caribe has a real feel of a salsa community. In this club, there are many advanced level people who do not want to dance Merengue, but want to dance with people who can dance Salsa very well. Foreigners living in Tokyo who are experienced salsa dancers tend to come to this club. Because the club was mentioned in a foreign travel guidebook as THE salsa spot in Tokyo there is also a good chance of meeting travellers passing through Tokyo either on business or pleasure.

Overall though, larger numbers of foreigners tend to frequent El Café Latino and Paraiso, so if your purpose is to speak English perhaps you would be better advised to go there.

The location of Caribe is quite difficult. The best idea is to use the Italian restaurant “Pizzeria Charleston & Son” as a landmark, which is an open café just past the Hard Rock Café on Roppongi. The club offers Salsa lessons every day. The admission fee is 1200 on weekdays, but on Fridays and Saturday the admission fee is 1,500 yen; both include one drink.
