Sanrio World Ginza – Hello Kitty and More

written by EnAble Japan October 20, 2014

Hello Kitty is not just a sugary-sweet character. Since 1974, Sanrio (the company behind the cute mascot) has produced Hello Kitty-everything: from clothes to candy, school supplies to diamond necklaces, comics and Fender guitars and even a jet airliner. Hello Kitty has starred in comics, several TV series, and even a theme park.

Kitty’s true home, however, is at the Sanrio World Ginza. Located on the second floor of the Nishi Ginza Department Store, you’re sure to find anything imaginable with a Hello Kitty design. There are toys, sweets, and gifts for children, but they do not cater solely to the little ones. At Sanrio World, you can also find Kitty handbags, pajamas and towels for yourself or the grown-up Kitty fan in your life. They also stock many limited edition goods and collaboration items, such as the Kiss-themed Hello Kitty dolls.

Sanrio World so it also stocks goods based on the other members of the Sanrio family, such as from the Charmmy Kitty range and Cinnamoroll.  They even have regional items, so you can get those hard-to-find items that are normally only sold in distant locales.

If you love all things Kitty, check out Sanrio World in Ginza. We’re sure you won’t be disappointed!
